Week 8- Galveston, Texas

This week I actually traveled back in time about 5,000 years to what was known as Galveston, Texas. Unfortunately for the upcoming generations global warming was a real event and apparently was unavoidable. Galveston is no longer and the coastal region is now Oklahoma, which is ok cause nobody really like Oklahoma anyway. Everything that was frozen has thawed out and sea level has risen dramatically, but as it was mainly humanities fault because of all the problems with the ozone having all those man made gasses, like CFC, get trapped and the green house effect, that everyone said was a hoax, this new coastal region has happened slowly and not many people suffered, other than loss of property. The other thing I learned is that there are now man made cities on the water itself because there is not enough land for everyone in the world to live on.  I guess the question is, now that there is less land and most people travel about on sailboats or paddle, will the continents comeback eventually? Will everything that has happened in the last 5,000 years reverse itself with longer winters and more refractivity to keep things cooler without all those ozone problems let mankind make a comeback and get the land masses back or are we doomed to spend eternity on the water?
