Huzzah Valley

I've been going to Huzzah Valley to canoe for the last 17 years. Every year we go the river changes. The cold water springs will move, the rock faces will be more weathered away and beaches that were once there will be gone while new ones will have formed. It is interesting to ride the river and see how the time and weather has changed it. Even finding your favorite spot from just last year to jump at is no longer deep enough to jump into. It also offers new spots to beach the boat and take a break, new swimming holes and a new experience every time you go down it. Erosion and time has made my yearly canoe trips here to be wonderful and I look forward to what it looks like next year and the
year after.
