South Platte River branches off to multiple canals and basins, North
Fork is an area where the river continues. North Folk has a consistent water flow,
although shallow and a narrow water way, this allows for the river to ripple through the sediment continuing west. This perennial stream flow is considered
to be low as the water banks are suppressed from the previous water flow when
the water was higher. Due to the suspension of the sediment, the water does meander,
thus creating the smooth rippling effect mentioned before.
