                                                                  GLOBAL WARMING

In the year 7010 the coastal city of Playa del Carmen in the Riviera Maya, Mexico climate change caused by global warming has had its drastic effect.  The whole coast of the city including the world famous fifth avenue are under water.  The water level rose and covered all the vibrant resorts and coastal scenery all the way into the deep jungle basically making the city almost non-existent. Society failed to mitigate emissions reduction, also failed to build systems that were resilient to its effects and implement climate change engineering.   The effect of natural contributions to global warming had minimal effects compared to the anthropogenic effects.  Human activities on earth changed the natural greenhouse.  The increased burning of fossil fuels like coal and gas drastically increased the concentration of atmospheric carbon dioxide which led to dramatic consequences.  These consequences included making the earth warmer, which led to more evaporation and precipitation.  The greenhouse effect became stronger which led to warm the oceans and partially melted the glaciers and other forms of ice which in turn contributed to sea level rise.  Part of society remained divided over the truth of climate change and remained hesitant to change and implement laws to limit the emissions.  Even though the half that believed in climate change did everything in their power to prevent global warming, it became inevitable and finally after the year 2200 it became extremely noticeable and irreversible.
