Selker- Week 7 Death Valley

Death Valley- Dante's View

The cool thing about this entire class was that a lot of the places we research and talk about are places I've had the opportunities to have been to!

So, Dante's Point- it has a great view of Death Valley and the striking topography where there are active tectonics. Here at Death Valley lies the youngest and most active parts of the Basin. Tension created these movements of the Earth plates have the stretched the crust where the entire region has been pulled apart.

Also, Death Valley get's its name from it being incredibly hot and uninhabitable but it sure is pretty!
