I took my trip to the Armargosa Chaos which is full of faults
and folds. The first the thing I noticed was all the faults and folds. What I
was curious about was how the faults and folds were occurring. Was the area
being pulled apart which would create the faults push back into other areas to
create the folds? If so does it just keep happening back and forth? Since all
the rocks are basically everywhere from all the folding and faults occurring would
this area be harder to survey and understand where everything goes and how old
it is? Also looking at pictures you can see that some of the older metamorphic
rock is higher than the newer sediments and then the other way around
