Week 3- Running Water; Orinoco River

I recently visited the Orinoco River that flows through Venezuela and is part of the frontier between Venezuela and Columbia. It stretches 1700 miles in an arc across South America and empties out into the Atlantic Ocean. The source is in Venezuela and sits at an elevation of 3300 feet. It flows northwest out of the Andes mountains towards plains. As is travels down it gains more volume from tributaries. This river is one of the biggest in North America, and is truly spectacular. It was incredibly beautiful to see and I would definitely recommend for people to see it at some point in their lives.
