The mountains of Death Valley stare at their own reflection. ELLIOT MCGUCKEN/45EPIC FINE ART LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY |
Though this is a very beautiful picture of Death Valley, I believe there is some useful information needed in order to make a Geological map of the area. I see these large mountains that are at different elevations, so one can assume that the region has gone through different periods of lift. An age of the rock would be useful in determining what caused this lift. With these flat lands that are in front of the mountains, I would assume that the water carved out the area. Based on the flow of water we could determine exactly what caused it.
