My husband is originally from Santa Barbara County, CA but he has lived in Wisconsin for most of his life. We decided to vacation to his home state and check out the geology of Santa Barbara County. The Geological make up of the State of California is varied and Santa Barbara County is no different. We were able to visit many parts of Santa Barbara County, but we were not able to physically view The White Ledge Peak Triangle and that left me with a few questions:
1. What is the structural and fault-kinematic framework of the map area?
2. Parts of these areas seems to be highly urbanized, what are the repercussions, including geohazards that have arisen because of this?
