Week 6

For my geological region I chose Cedarville, CA. This region particularly interested me because it seems to be a region where there are many rock formations all collaborated with rivers, volcanoes, mountains etc. The three questions I would be interested in knowing are:

1. How do geologists measure each of the complex regions when they are so different and probably were created at different times throughout the geological timeline?


2. What sort of different types of fossils could be found in this complex region?


3. There seems to be a large number of different types of deposits throughout this region why is that occurring?
