San Andrea's Fault

1: For the first question I would like to know the rock composition of the areas around the fault. This could tell me the history of the rock formations around the fault and the age of those rocks
2: What kind of fault this certain fault is. This would allow me to better understand the patterns of earthquakes, and even predict when powerful earthquakes will happen
3: Fossils that are located around the faults. With this we can see the area and where these moved from and how fast.
