Week 6- Death Valley

The three pieces of information I would ask for are:
What do the rock layers look like across the span of the valley?
     I am looking for information about faults and folds, as well as the horizontality because it will            give information of plate activity.
Without looking at the diagram I attached, I would ask what the rock composition is across the valley?
     A lot can be determined by rock composition, like original formation conditions.
What does the weather look like?
     Are there a lot of earthquakes? Are the rocks shifting? This, again, tells a lot about the plate                activity occuring.
